How To Get Zephyr Guide

Zephyr the Sky Sentinel is one of the four Warframes that are available in the clan dojo that can be researched and replicated to be crafted without the need for quests or missions to obtain.

She dominates the sky above the battlefield where she is able to create her own sniper positions by using her Tailwind ability and hover to rain down death to her targets.

Zephyr is also able to create powerful torrents of air around her that are strong enough to deflect incoming projectiles while increasing the range of you and your ally’s projectile-based weapons with her Turbulence.

With her mastery of air and wind, she can also create a powerful Tornado that can suck up enemies in their path while retaining the elemental types of the damage type that hits them.

If Zephyr has piqued your interest follow this guide to know more about how to get her.

But if you’re looking for some ideas on how to mod the Warframe, check out our Zephyr builds guide.

How To Get Zephyr’s Blueprints

One of the easier clan researched Warframe to craft Zephyr would only need standard materials to be crafted although with one exception and that is with Oxium which is a not so common resource to come by. Check your Tenno Lab for the reasearch!

It may be an intimidating task but don’t worry this guide will provide a sure and easy way to farm them along with some help to guide you to farming and crafting the necessary materials.

Crafting the Parts for Zephyr

As a clan researched Warframe Zephyr will be available for every clan member to replicate to be crafted in your personal foundry being a light Warframe it does not take a lot of materials to craft Zephyr.

Zephyr Farm (Getting Materials)

Most of Zephyr’s materials can be easily farmed through missions making her an easy research and craft for your clan with the only exception of farming Oxium that may take some time to farm.

It would be mutually beneficial that you will be with your clan members when farming the Oxium, so that it will not take long for you to have enough Oxium for both the research and your personal build of Zephyr.

Craftables Requirements

The component materials Detonite Injector, Mutagen Mass and Fieldron would need to be crafted by you one at a time in your orbiter.

Another way of obtaining the completed component materials is by either getting them as rewards for participating in the invasion missions or getting them as rewards on some of the bounties in Orb Vallis.

  • Detonite Ampule – Mercury, Saturn, Uranus, Earth, Sedna, Ceres
  • Mutagen Mass – Deimos, Eris
  • Fieldron Sample – Venus, Mars, Europa, Neptune, Pluto

Oxium Farming

Farming Oxium is one of the more tricky things to farm due to having conditions when trying to get them. Obtainable from a specific enemy specifically the Oxium Osprey.

These machines can produce Oxium if you destroy them before they slam their bodies at you in a last-ditch effort to kill their target and denying you of their Oxium drop.

If you’re looking for the best way to farm the resource, check out our detailed Oxium Farming Guide on that topic!

Other Resources Farming

These farmed materials are easy to obtain by simply farming the nodes of the planets listed for the specific resource. It will also be beneficial to have Warframes that are able to help you in farming like Nekros with his Desecrate or Hydroid and Khora with their Pilfering augments.

If you have people helping you out where they use those Warframes it would be beneficial for you to use Mag and use her Greedy Pull augment to make sure you will have all the drops in your farming spot.

Common

  • Ferrite – Mercury, Earth, Neptune, Orokin Void
  • Rubedo – Earth, Pluto, Sedna, Europa, Phobos, Orokin Void
  • Salvage – Mars, Jupiter, Sedna

Conclusion

Zephyr is for players that like to have an aerial advantage and able to survey and observe while looking for their next target. In a pinch, if she is surrounded, she can shift the winds of battle in the favor of her and her squad.

Definitely a more advanced Warframe to master and fully utilize Zephyr. She is a great Warframe to have in your arsenal especially if you love shotguns or beam weapons, where she can turn them into long-range precision weapons by using one of her abilities.
